We collect your username, email (optional), and team information when you register. We store the meeting transcripts and audio files you upload or sync from Plaud. We store AI-generated summaries, action items, and entities extracted from your content.
If you connect a Quick Capture channel, we additionally store the identifiers needed to route your messages to your account: your phone number (SMS or WhatsApp) and/or your Telegram chat ID. We store the content of messages and photos you send to a capture channel — these become captures in your inbox and, if you attach them, notes and attachments on your meetings.
Your data is used solely to provide the Relay Digest service to you and your team. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Transcripts and content are processed by Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI APIs to generate summaries, embeddings, and action items.
Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI trains their AI models on data submitted via API. This is a firm commitment in both companies' terms:
Your meeting transcripts, action items, and business discussions are used only to generate your results and are not retained by these providers to improve their models.
You may supply your own API keys in Settings → API Keys to route all AI processing through your own provider accounts, giving you direct visibility into usage and billing.
Relay Digest implements industry-standard security: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls limiting data to your team. Authentication credentials and API keys are stored encrypted.
When your data is transmitted to Anthropic or OpenAI for processing, it is protected under their enterprise security frameworks, which are independently audited (SOC 2 Type II for both providers). Each provider's security policy governs the protection of data while it is in their systems. Relay Digest is not liable for security incidents that occur within third-party provider infrastructure; those are governed by the respective provider agreements.

Quick Capture is opt-in: a channel only works after you explicitly link it from Settings, and you can unlink any channel there at any time, which immediately stops message routing to your account.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are used solely to deliver the capture service you enrolled in and are never sold or shared for marketing. Deleting a capture permanently removes its content, including any photos.
Data is stored on servers located in the EU (Hetzner). We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
We use session cookies only. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Submit requests to [email protected]. Requests will be fulfilled within 30 days.
To request deletion of your data, email [email protected]. Team admins can delete all team data from Settings > Team > Danger Zone.
